Who we are
Proper Trade Sites builds websites for tradespeople. You can contact us about your data at hello@propertradesites.co.uk.
What we collect
- What you type into our enquiry form: business name, your name, phone number, email address, the area you cover, your trade and any special requests.
- Any logo or photos you upload. We use them only to build your preview and website, and delete them if you don't go ahead.
- Whether you ticked the box to receive our monthly tips email.
- Public information about your business, such as your business name, services and Google reviews, which we use to build your free preview.
Why we use it
- To build your free website preview and reply to your enquiry. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract.
- To send our monthly tips email, only if you ticked the box. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
- To run the service if you become a customer. Our lawful basis is our contract with you.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We use trusted providers to run our website, forms and email, and they only process data on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become customers are deleted after 12 months. Customer records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to us using it, by emailing hello@propertradesites.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
