* On the monthly plan you can buy your site whenever you like, and every payment you've made counts. Each one takes £20 off the £395 build price. So after a year of monthly payments, you'd pay £155 once to own your site, and from then on just £15 a month (or £95 a year) for hosting. Keep paying monthly and after 20 payments the site is yours at no extra cost, and your bill drops to £15 a month for hosting, or £95 if you pay yearly. Your web address costs about £10 a year and is registered in your name on both plans. Full details in our customer terms.
What a finished site looks like
This example was built for a made-up heating engineer, but every site we make has the same parts: professional photos, online booking, a postcode checker, reviews and a live "open now" status. Yours leads with photos of your joinery.
Straight answers
I call myself a joiner, customers say carpenter. Which do you use?
Both. We use the word your customers search for in your area, and mention the other too, so you're found either way.
Can the site show bespoke work and small jobs?
Yes. Bespoke pieces get their own gallery, and smaller jobs like doors and skirting have their own pages.
Do you work with builders who subcontract to me?
We can add a section for builders and contractors, so trade work reaches you as well as homeowners.
Can customers send measurements?
Yes. The quote form asks for rough measurements and photos, so you can price before a visit.
Do I really not pay for the preview?
Yes. We build it first. If you don't like it, you owe nothing and we take it down.
What if I want to leave?
On the monthly plan there is a 3-month minimum, paid by Direct Debit. After that you can cancel with 30 days' notice. When you leave, you can let the site close, or buy it and take it with you (see the next question). On the buy outright plan, your first year's hosting is free, then it's month to month: cancel with 30 days' notice and we send you the site files.
Who owns the website?
Your web address and your own photos and words are always yours, on both plans. On buy outright, the whole site is yours once the build price is paid. On monthly, you use the site while the plan runs, and it becomes yours when you buy it.
